The IPC Mpox Guidance within the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual has been updated. Updates include:

• New column within version control providing more context for the rationale of updates.
• Combining both 'probable' and 'possible' cases into a singular 'suspected' case. This is to simply definitions and bring the guidance into alignment with the other UK Nations.

The A-Z entry for Mpox has also been updated. This update includes:

• More detailed symptom information, with particular focus on the development of a rash.
• More information within the exclusion period, which links to the UKHSA de-isolation guidance.
